Since purchasing his first lorry with hard-earned savings, Lim Chin Yong and his younger brother, Lim Chin Kean, or famously revered as ‘Durian King’ by MediaCorp in 1998, established the renowned durian enterprise that supplies to retail outlets and major supermarkets such as NTUC today.
Their passion for durians overflows to the family’s next generation who are committed to uphold the art of durian appreciation through Durian Culture. Today, the durian-loving community continues to expand. Looks like the glorious days are shining brighter ahead.
